Introduction:

I was born and educated in London and although I have travelled extensively, I have always lived in London. After graduating from the Central School of Speech & Drama in 1980, I worked regularly in all mediums - film, television, theatre and radio - as a professional actor not only in Britain, but in many European countries.

With a keen interest in history, I qualified as a London Blue-Badge Guide in 1999 and my work includes private Driver-Guiding, coach, River Thames and walking tours, lecturing, museum, cathedral and gallery visits.

As a tutor at The American Institute of Foreign Studies (UK), Richmond University in London,The Florida State University London Study Centre and the University of the Third Age, I lecture on The English Monarchy, Hampton Court Palace, Winston Churchill, The Battle of Britain and The History of British Theatre as well as conducting day visits to historical sites around the country.

I have worked as a tutor on the London Blue Badge training course on behalf of The Institute of Tourist Guiding and as a City of London Guide, been an Examiner on the City of London Guiding Course.

I have also gained endorsements at The Palace of Westminster, the British Museum, Somerset House, Canterbury Cathedral, Salisbury Cathedral and London venues for 2012.

I am member of The Institute of Tourist Guiding, The Association of Professional Tourist Guides, The Guild of Professional Tourist Guides, The City of London Guide Lecturer's Association and British Actors Equity.
