Introduction:

My background. I’ve been lucky enough to live and work in London for the last 30 years and as a result have an excellent knowledge of the sights and sounds of London. Having worked as a police officer and as a civil servant I can provide you with a unique insight into the streets of London and all of its world class attractions.

Award winner. London has always been fascinating to me and I never stop reading and learning new things about this great city. My knowledge is comprehensive and I won the award for coming top in the prestigious Blue Badge written exams.

History. Whether London is a new destination for you, or you have visited before, I will open your eyes to this great city’s rich history and entertain you with stories about the many famous people who have lived, loved, worked or otherwise made their mark in London.

Contemporary London. But it’s not all about the past. London is a fizzing cosmopolitan centre where there is always something going on. If you're into shopping, theatre, great food, pubs and bars, museums and galleries, I can help you get the most out of your visit.

Royalty. London is also the home of the Royal Family and they are always moving around town unveiling statues and hosting visiting world leaders on State Visits. There is every chance we'll get to spot them. I can guarantee you a memorable experience outside Buckingham Palace to see the Changing of the Guard.

World Class Sites. I can take you to all the greatest sites. The Tower of London, Westminster Abbey, St Paul's Cathedral, The British Museum, The National Gallery and so much more. Perhaps you want to explore a little wider? Let me show you around the Unesco World Heritage Site at Greenwich, or take you on a trip up the great River Thames to Hampton Court Palace. London is the backdrop to so many movies and TV shows. So if you're into Harry Potter or William Shakespeare I can take you to the places you'll recognise from the big ( and small screen).

Families. As a Dad with teenage children, I understand that families need to balance providing entertainment (and maybe a little education)with ensuring that the grown ups have a great time too. I also understand that history and culture requires regular injections of hot chocolate, ice cream and chips

Day trips. Wider still I can show those world class sites than can easily be covered in a day trip from London. Oxford, Stratford Upon Avon, Canterbury, Salisbury, Bath, The Cotswolds, Stonehenge and Windsor are all wonderful places to experience.

Top class experience. I can promise you that spending time on a tour with me will always be exciting, interesting and entertaining. You're here to get the most out of your visit to the world's greatest city. I'm here to help you do just that.
