Introduction:

Born & bred in Cumbria, my schooling was in Cockermouth, birthplace of William Wordsworth.One of the first Voluntary Cadet Lake District National Park Wardens. Carlisle and North Cumbria,including Hadrian's Wall Heritage Sites are close to my home in Dalston. Anglo - Scottish History and the Reivers are of particular interest to me. With a love of the coast & countryside of Cumbria,I am delighted to show visitors this superb area. Background in teaching - provides useful base for food & social history,industrial archaeology, Arts & Crafts,architecture, literature & history.
