Join me on Sunday 23rd April for my "Happy Birthday Bill" walk. To celebrate the birthday of the Bard himself which happens to fall on St George's Day.
Join us as we follow his footsteps around Bankside and Borough on this light-hearted stroll.
We'll encounter rogues, vagabonds, boatmen, bears, bishops and 'geese'.
We will be quoting his works and audience participation is definitely encouraged.
No previous acting experience is necessary but enthusiasm and a sense of the ridiculous are welcome.
Meet at the steps of Bankside Pier opposite Shakespeare's Globe Theatre at 3pm. Our walk will last for around 2 hours finishing in a suitable watering hole (drinks not included)
£10 per person payable on the day
As they say in the Music Hall "Ladies and Gentlemen, this time, chiefly yourselves!"
I am an actress, director and singer in amateur theatre. I particularly enjoy Gilbert & Sullivan, music hall, opera and classical music of all kinds. I am very interested in London songs and when travelling like to discover the music of the area.
Some of my favourite and most popular walks are the themed walks in costume such as Peter Pan, Queen Victoria, Goodbye Picadilly -Farewell Leicester Square (see the area in song!).
I previously ran a children's drama school so have plenty of experience with children from pre-schoolers upwards! I have been conducting school trips to London for the past 30 years.
If you are looking for something different for your group let me arrange a quiz or even a treasure hunt for you.
If you have your own ideas or would like me to share some of mine with you, why not drop me a line and we can tailor make an event just for you.
