Introduction:

I have studied in the Strand, lived in Soho and Bloomsbury and worked in the City. I have been a newspaper journalist all my working life and enjoy telling people about the London I love.
I will unpack the best bits the capital can offer from its treasure chest of history, culture, architecture and quirkiness. I will be pleased to guide you around the major attractions like Westminster Abbey and the Tower of London. And I will also be happy to give you a guided panoramic coach tour or a walk that takes you into hidden corners and squares with unexpected delights.
Whether you have a large party of school children or students who wish to visit a museum or a small corporate group of adults who want to spend a morning at an art gallery, I will make sure you have an interesting, exciting and fun day out.
I will also devise specialist tours tailored to your requirements. I have an MA in architectural history gained at the Courtauld Institute and love to show visitors Londons finest ancient buildings and the stunning new architecture rising in the city.
And if you would like a change of tempo and some time out from the capital, I am also qualified to guide you around Stonehenge, Bath, Oxford, Windsor, Stratford and Canterbury.
